The blue city and some sand

Making my way to Dehli I stopped in a few more places in Rajasthan. Taking the standard tourist path through Johdpur and Jaisalmer, with a side trip south of Jaisalmer to Khuri. Khuri was be far my favourite spot, it which was peaceful and small; a huge difference to Jaisalmer which is full of people who would like your money or time.

These puppies where on of my favourite parts of Khuri for obvious reasons.

Jaisalmer fort, not under the same protection as other forts in India for some reason. Its kind of sad because its falling down because of the mass commercialization in the fort and area. Peoples water usage is eroding it away :(

I went on a mission out to Sam Sand Dunes near Jaisalmer and wound up in a small village with some nice people who gave me chai. No english no hindi so we smiled at each other and I showed the ladies my ears and hair which they always seem interested in.
