Since arriving in Rajasthan my India trip has taken a really positive turn. Not that anything I have done up to this point has been terrible but I have checked all the tourist stuff of the list and am going for a more legit India experience.
I arrived in Jaipur, the Pink City, from Agra. Jaipur is a very old city with a palace and a fort. The fort is brilliant sit up on a big hill and the walls of it surround the old city, pink City.
While I was in Jaipur I was introduced to a meditation program called Vipassana, when your traveling like I am there is absolutely no reason to not try and experience new things that may lead to positive changes in yourself so I decided to go! I had a few days before the course started and spent then in Pushkar and Bundi.

To me Pushkar seems overrated, full of foreigners trying to sell you hash and all that shit tourist buy. Pushkar lake however... amazing, serene and beautiful.

I would say I much prefer Bundi its like Pushkar off steroids much better! Small and full of friendly locals, I will and already have recommended it to everyone I come across! My favorite fort/palace combo was here too! Since its less popular it has not been developed and fenced off and I was able to wander around and climb on top of things in the fort for hours! With a puppy companion as well!
